Websites for wine shops

Bottles reserved online, ready at the counter.

Customers browse your cellar from their sofa, reserve tonight’s bottle and pick it up on the way home. We start with a free mockup, so you can see what it would look like for your shop.

No commitment and no rental contract. If you don’t like it, you owe us nothing.

Selling alcohol comes with rules: the French health warning, “L’abus d’alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération”, appears at the foot of every page, and customers confirm they’re 18 or over before ordering.

Sarment, a wine shop that doesn’t exist.

To show the kind of site we build, we imagined Sarment, a fictional wine shop. Everything works: try it.

  • Find a bottle with the filters
  • Open a wine’s page
  • Reserve the bottle to collect in the shop
  • Watch the reservation land on the wine merchant’s phone

The questions wine merchants ask themselves.

And for everything else, the general questions.

Does my site have to comply with the Loi Évin?

Yes, and it’s built into the site. It shows the health warning required by the Loi Évin, “L’abus d’alcool est dangereux pour la santé, à consommer avec modération”. And since selling alcohol to minors is forbidden, customers confirm they’re 18 or over before ordering. At the counter, you can still ask for ID.

My wines change every week. Can the site keep up?

Yes. Send us your new arrivals by message, a photo of the labels is enough, and we update the cellar. A sold-out wine comes off sale, or stays visible marked “sold out” if you’d rather.

Do customers pay online or in the shop?

As you prefer: by card online, into a payment account in your name, or at the counter when they collect. If you’d like to deliver locally or ship, we add your delivery areas and fees.

Can I charge for tasting places?

Yes. You set the date, the number of places and the price. Customers book and pay online, and you have the guest list on your phone. A free tasting is booked the same way.

How much does a wine shop’s website cost?

It mostly depends on the size of your cellar and on what the site does: click & collect, online payment, delivery. You get a written quote after seeing your mockup, before deciding anything.

No rental contract: the site and its address belong to you. Ensia is a registered company, SIREN 999 529 159. A question? Call us on 07 56 93 64 33, you’ll talk to us directly.
